Com este concerto o Festival inaugura uma nova iniciativa, de visitar um conselho vizinho (“O Festival visita…”), mostrando o valioso património que todo o distrito possui em termos organológicos.

Nesta visita vamos até Santa Maria de Prado, a 15 minutos do centro de Braga, para conhecer e ouvir um dos maiores instrumentos da região, de estilo alemão e com uma sonoridade muito distinta da que estamos habituados a ouvir com os órgãos ibéricos.

Niklas Jahn estará responsável por mostrar o som impressionante desse grande órgão e acompanhar as vozes divinas dos Jovens Cantores de Guimarães, sob a direção de Janete Ruiz.

With this concert, the Festival inaugurates a new initiative, to visit a neighboring council (“The Festival visits…”), showing the valuable heritage that the entire district has in organological terms.

On this visit we go to Santa Maria de Prado, 15 minutes from the center of Braga, to discover and listen to one of the largest instruments in the region, German in style and with a very different sound from what we are used to hearing with Iberian organs.

Niklas Jahn will be responsible for showing the impressive sound of this great organ and accompanying the divine voices of the Young Singers of Guimarães, under the direction of Janete Ruiz.
