Um programa assente na obra de dois grandes compositores: Bach e João Rodrigues Esteves.​

Em pleno período Barroco, o mesmo em que a Arte reveste de decorações a ouro os espaços, também a música se caracterizará por essa riqueza. 

Em Portugal, no reinado de D. João V, edificam-se grandes palácios e mosteiros, mas também no contexto musical é uma época de fausto, com um investimento impar na encomenda de novas composições. Alguns músicos são enviados para Roma e outras cidades europeias para estudarem com os grandes mestres. Estre eles estava João Rodrigues Esteves.

Ao mesmo tempo, na Alemanha, Johann Sebastian Bach componha algumas das mais notáveis obras sacras e que o tornarão eterno na História da Música.

A program based on the work of two great composers: Bach and João Rodrigues Esteves.​ In the middle of the Baroque period, the same period in which Art covered spaces with gold decorations, music was also characterized by this richness. In Portugal, during the reign of D. João V, great palaces and monasteries were built, but also in the musical context it was a time of opulence, with a unique investment in the commissioning of new compositions. Some musicians are sent to Rome and other European cities to study with the great masters. Between them was João Rodrigues Esteves. At the same time, in Germany, Johann Sebastian Bach composed some of the most notable sacred works that will make him eternal in the History of Music. Was the musical universe between Portugal and Germany in the 1700s really that far apart?
